Matthew 9:13

It's so easy to think of ourselves as "better" than other people, just because we have a relationship with God... or things are going pretty good for us... or we serve on a committee at our church... or volunteer at a homeless shelter... or [insert countless other reasons here].

That's most definitely not the case! "Righteous" people have no need for a Savior. We have to remember that we're still sinners. We're just sinners saved by the grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God's perfect Son. We can't forget that.

We fail Him. He loves us anyway. We say things we shouldn't. He loves us anyway. We make mistakes. He loves us anyway.

We are all, always, in desperate need of a Savior.
